We are delighted to introduce the additional judges for the Think Global Awards 2022. Each of the judges brings a high level of experience in their chosen sectors. We are looking forward to all our judges assisting with year five of the Think Global Awards.
Sharon Fahy
Sharon is the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs with Global Medical Technology company Medtronic. The company operates in more than 350 locations across over 150 countries.
A highly experienced regulatory professional with a demonstrated history of working in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, Sharon is a people leader and is skilled in pre and post-approval, including U.S.realizeorganization Food and Drug Administration (FDA) C.E. marking and Global registrations. Sharon has an effective combination of product and analytical chemistry experience.
Róisín Maguire
Róisín is the Co-founder of Jet Pack Learning, an educational games publishing platform based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Jetpack’s platform offers over 50 customizable language learning game templates. All games are designed in collaboration with language educators and tested with students in the classroom. Jetpack makes it easy for educators to easily produce gamified language learning in their classrooms or for students to use at home. Róisín describes herself as a game-based learning specialist, passionate about learner-centric, innovative products that enhance engagement with learning.”
Steve Dougan
Steve is the Head of Enterprise at Teesside University, where he has been for more than 14 years. The Founder of Teesside Launchpad, The MicroBiz Academy, and the Indie Games Accelerator, Teesside University's innovative startup support platform, and entrepreneurial community. He helps develop business support systems, learning solutions, coaching support, space design, and community ethos to create one of the U.K.’s most vibrant entrepreneurial communities. Steve has fifteen years of evidenced success in helping entrepreneurs to develop high-growth ventures.
Steve is an Advisory Board Member for the Centre for Entrepreneurs, where he has given of his time and knowledge for the past four years. The CFE Incubator and Accelerator Network (IAN) aims to increase the scale and impact of business incubators and accelerators across the U.K.
Yvonne McNamara
Yvonne is the Chief Operations Officer at Vistatec. The role involves managing the worldwide localization production units at Vistatec, comprising supply chain management, project management, language services, testing, engineering, DTP, and multimedia divisions. Vistatec is an industry-leading global solutions provider. Established in 1997, it counts many of the world’s largest organizations as its customers.
Tammy Darcy
Tammy is the founder of The Shona Project. This multi-award-winning non-profit organization provides help, guidance, and education to young women on anxiety, depression, bullying, stress, relationships, social media, and body image. Shona consists of an online community and schools initiative governed by professional doctors, counselors, and education providers. The Shona project believes that girls need to be empowered and educated to realize their full potential and become tomorrow’s changemakers. In addition to her work with The Shona Project, Tammy is also a founding member and interim Chief Executive Officer of Social Enterprise ROI (SERI).
